This morning, I found the cup of milk that I'd left in the refrigerator over the weekend in observance of MLK day (cows don't like vowels). As is custom, I ceremoniously poured the offering down the drain before realizing that it was actually my life in premature Mardi Gras costume. Too late, I recognized it by the distinctly mournful slithering of beads against the spoon Skim threw down the drain in homage to the Sewage People.
