3:22 p.m. - 2013-06-14 Hopefully, all will go well, and it will be another good day to add to your basket. How is it that you both will be there that day? My particular blooming onion is not fried -- yet, but you know how Georgia summers go. It's the result of feeling pity for an onion bought, not eaten, and thus sprouted, so "planted" (ie, stuck in a random pot of dirt) and forgotten about. The thing is huge, and strangely pretty. I have no idea what to do with it, outside of taking pictures from time to time. There are also these really beautiful, exotic weeds that grow in the yard called Maypop Passionflowers. They look like something from another planet and make fruit one can eat, if one is so inclined (thus far, this one has not had the guts, plus I want the seeds). I would post pictures, but alas, me and Diaryland aren't really that close.
